Read a lot of the other reviews before picking this restaurant. Our experience was great. Very speedy service and the food was wonderful. I had shrimp curry and my friend had shrimp linguine and they were both fabulous. Wish I could remember our waiters name case he was great.

Indigo is always one of my favorites and while I was in no hurry it is note worthy that from the time I got my wine to when they took my food order was about 40 minutes. They were not busy but it did appear the waiter was new. I had grilled shrimp and salad which was very good.

We stayed in Nassau for 6 days and explored West Bay Road a little bit West of our hotel on foot to try to get away from the more built up, tourist trap areas. We came upon Indigo Cafe (stilll called that, no sign of "Pot & Cakes" that the other reviewers mentioned). We asked to see the menu and... More

First of all, this restaurant has been renamed the Pot and Cake. We went there for a lunch and were quite impressed by everything but the speed of service. I know, it is the normal Caribbean phenomenon. The way to overcome it is to stress (politely) that you are in a bit of a hurry. Apart from that the welcome... More

Having Lindsay as our hostess was a pleasure. Yannick was our waiter. They were friendly and the service was good. Our dinner was the lobster mac and cheese. Tasty entree. The warm cherry bread was good. Eating anywhere on the island seems to be on the expensive side.

I always make at least one trip to Indigo ( now Pot and Cakes) but this trip I went twice because now they are open for breakfast. Conch cakes and Indigo salad for dinner and for breafast I had the french toast made with their signature sweet cranberry bread. Good food and service.

Back in the states and still thinking about their homemade bread. Great food, can be casual sitting outside or nicer dining inside. Can order less expensive, small, share plates or full plates in the $20-30 range.

The restaurant has been closed for a couple of weeks. It is being re-branded as the Pot & Cake and will have a higher end Bahamian food experience. It will remain in the same building The owners Brent and Marissa decided to re-invest and re-brand and there was a splash in the local papers today announcing the changes. It should... More

Back again after visitng several times on last trips to Bahamas. Quite a low key restaurant with a varied and reasonably priced menu. As before sat outside which is far the best option - inside a little bland and unassuming. Other problem with inside is that smoking is still allowed in Bahamas and several tables had smokers - outside clean/clear... More

Overall - a very enjoyable dinner. Get there if you can. Convenient to Cable Beach area but it's a hike from Atlantis area. Be prepared for a $20 something taxi ride or figure out the buses. Great views along the way. Food - plenty of choices for a variety of tastes. Food was cooked and seasoned well, with great flavor... More
