Ever since we moved from Puerto Rico, we have been "waiting" to go back to Augusto, and it was worth the "wait" ... we had a great meal!!! To start I had the french onion soup, and for main dish the fillet mignon (and some of my wife beef ribs) ... and to finish I could not resist the chocolate... More

Our return to Augusto's had been delayed for a number of reasons, but we were very satisfied by the experience. We were 5 for dinner on Saturday, 12/29. The service was first class throughout the night. There was a fixed price multi-course meal that we did not consider, even though the choices offered were appealing. I had the soup from... More

This is an elegant restaurant located in Miramar. The service is pure class and the food is superb.I had a filet mignon, which I hardly ever order. The meat was perfect, tender but not mushy, tasty but not altered with too many tastes. Someone at my table had the ribeye which was praised to the sky. The traditional escargot was outstanding and on... More

In general, a disappointing experience. We ordered wine by the glass and therefore did not expect a top wine, but the pinot noir that we were served tasted more like grape juice; when we complained, it was changed without charge to another wine that was marginal (even for a wine by the glass), but acceptable. The food was not bad,... More

Fantastic restaurant for business luncheons, romantic evenings, or just a night out. Delicious food from the continent with some local fare. Augusto's has never disappointed. The founder of this restaurant is knows as "Chef" for many chefs on the island. Great experience.

Augustos is a formal restaurant where the principal object is the food nor the decor or the atmosphere. This however does not means the decor or the atmosphere are not adequate it just means it is well prepared food in a quiet and elegant place. Usually the best dishes are the specials where the chef shows best his french influence.

I ate at Augusto's 3 times while I was in San Juan. I had lunch twice and breakfast once. The service is absolutely top rate. The view- well it looks out on the hotel swimming pool, so it's not elegant. My first lunch I just ordered a salad, it was really good and they serve some yummy bread to go... More

Yesterday my wife and I wanted a special night, so we decided to visit Augusto's a leyend in the high cuisine scene of San Juan, but left a bit disappointed. I don't want to be harsh but high end restaurants with top dollar menus must be judged as such. It was a slow night only 3 tables and lots of... More

A restaurant that has been in Miramar for several years. If you like a good Martini Carlitos the Bartender makes the best. The menu is absolutely delicious, you will need afew minutes making your selection. Don't forget the Chocolate Souffle!
