We recently returned from a trip to Puerto Rico - we stayed at the Wyndham Rio Mar and traveled into San Juan to have dinner at Marmalade. We are a party of 6 - and very tough food critics. This was an outstanding dinner and just as good as any high end dinning you would get in NYC. The dining... More

We felt in love with this place. Food was absolutely delicious, service -outstanding, the place is decorated with great sense of style. Owner/chef was stopping by every table talking to people . We choose prefix , 4 course menu and every single dish was a piece of art and very tasty. Highly recommend to people who knows what good food... More

We treated ourselves to an evening at Marmalade after countless recommendations from friends, and they certainly weren't wrong. We opted for the five-course tasting menu with my partner adding the wine pairing, I don't usually drink reds so I stuck with cocktails and the house special white - which fortunately was a fantastic dry white. Our meal was absolutely delicious,... More

We stumbled upon Marmalade with no plans whatsoever. We were fortunate to get a table even though it was late. No one in our party expected anything exceptional. We were wrong. A world class menu, world class dining experience, amazing food with a great wine pairing. We could not have asked for more. Several members of our party seriously contemplated... More

Very Miami decor. On busy Fortaleza street. Open only for supper. Reservations required. Service and food excellent. Had lobster risotto and a lamb dish, both delicious. Well worth a visit.

Marmalade is a very popular, upscale restaurant n Old San Juan and our dinner party was impressed in some ways but sadly disappointed in others. The hosting and seating service was quite efficient and professional. The large dining room is partitioned into various courts but the center where we sat was too brightly lit and tables were too closely arranged,... More

So often you ask the concierge at a hotel about good restaurants and they send you to some place that makes you wonder if they are getting a kickback. But not in this case. Marmalade was simply fantastic. We went with the five-course menu (some with and some without the wine pairings). So, we were able to select two small... More

Everything about Marmalade's is spectacular. Just do it! Lucky us, we were able to snag a last minute reservation on the second of our four nights in Old San Juan. (We tried again for our final night but the restaurant was closed for a private party.) Lucky again, chef owner Peter Schintler took our order. We had noticed him studiously... More

Unbelievable food and unbelievable service! There's not much left to say in a review of this place that hasn't already been said. If you like 5 star dining and enjoy restaurants with anything but "average" food, it's worth a trip here. The drinks are amazing. The tasting menu is excellent. The design of the restaurant is great. It's just an... More
