If you want some local food this is a great place. The service, drinks and food were great. We were a party of 8 and noone had a single complaint. There is not much to the decor but we were there for the food and drinks. We started with the sampler appetizer with everything deep fried so how could it...

Small place crowded and noisy, but it doesn't matter because the food is excellent, good service and a mix of locals and tourists make this place interesting, it was worth the wait, it is very popular and the wait could be long but they move the tables quick.
My husband and I walked to Old San Juan from LaConcha. We were going to have lunch at the Convento but it did not fit our mood. The receptionist recommended this little gem of a restaurant. We were able to hosey a table outside so we could people watch. I had my first Mafongo with skirt steak.. I will crave...

Visited on the recommendation of our hotel staff and very pleased. On a busy Friday night, we had to wait for a table, but walked around the corner to another place for a drink and the host called us when our table was ready. We enjoyed mofongo, and the waitress was great. Highly recommend.
Some of the best local food we had on our trip. Hugh portions at a really great price. Had to wait twenty minutes for a table but it was well worth it!

The Mofongo was very good and the black bean soup was too. The had a cute patio area out front, but it was full when we were there and didn't want to wait. The atmosphere inside was nice and the servers were friendly and quick.
Stopped here for dinner with my son as he was in PR for business and I got to come along=)
He travels here for business a few times a year and wanted to eat here again. Well he wasn't impressed this time and said his meal was just ok. Mine was bland as well. He had the chicken with rice...

I went here with friends and we sat outside on the sidewalk. It was recommended to us by a stranger on the street, and I am glad we listened!
This was my first taste of mofongo and I loved it! We each got different kinds (garlic chicken and sweet plantains for me) and each of them was terrific.
The service...
