Hotel referred us to this place after we requested a choice for good Paella. We found it easily on the corner. Very cold beer. Tasty food. Friendly staff and service.

Very good service, the owner treated us like we were family. My wife and I felt very welcome. The food was great! Awesome atmosphere. I enjoyed a mofongo con camarones! yum!......The flan con calabaza (Pumpkin) was OMG so creamy!
This restaurant is one of the best we have been in san Juan as far as service. The food and the drinks are also excellent. The owner, Louisa and her partner, make you feel at home and they come and talk to you at your table. We were just there this afternoon and my wife ordered a passion fruit mojito...

Just off the boat from our second cruise that stops in San Juan. We found this restaurant the first time around and decided to make it a point to go back. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant! Drinks and hot sauce were equally as yummy as the food! Hoping to make it back to this gem another time!
My wife and I walked from the cruise ship dock up hill and in the general direction of Fort San Cristobal to find this restaurant. I've never eaten patella before or since, so I can't compare it to another eatery. The bottled hot sauce on each table was outstanding, the hot sauce complimented the patella perfectly. The atmosphere was quiet...

We walked to this place from the Gallery Inn. Great beer list. Excellent paella (I had the shrimp, scallops and mussels). My husband had grouper. Both were excellent. Great service from friendly staff. Ate fairly early on a Sunday evening. Nice artwork and setting. Desserts looked good. Wished I had tried one.
Among all of the great cuisine of San Juan, we discovered this hidden gem on our last day in San Juan. The paintings inside are spectacular and really give the restaurant a great ambiance, the paella was flavorful and fresh, I had the Asopao de camoarones (shrimp rice stew) and was probably my favorite meal of my stay. The flan...

How disappointed we were having read previous reviews? Extremely! The tapas started was actually good but it went down hill from there! The garlic potatoes were actually greasy fries with some garlic fried with them! The paella was tasteless rice in stock! And the pasta was dropping in oil! Would not recommend!!
Airenumo is located up a monster set of steps in Old Town. We ate there 12/20/12. FANTASTIC FOOD!!! I rate their mofongos in the top ten anywhere in San Juan. But more than that, their fish prep is outstanding. We shared an herbed, deep fried snapper amongst the 4 of us for lunch - delish! Because it was lunch time,...

We ate here on our first night in San Juan and were delighted with both the food and the service. The asopao (rice soup) with shrimp had delicious flavors and our other dishes also were excellent. Be sure to try their home-made hot sauce! People were very welcoming and we noticed that this was a place frequented by local people...
