El meson is a great place to eat everything... they are famous for their sandwiches although I prefer their specials. The fish is fresh, the locl food is very good and not that costly. You can also go at night and have a couple of drinks..

This is a nice place fro a quick lunch or a late snack. They have a great variety of sandwiches and other plates too. They have a big bar with a nice selection of drinks and sangria. The sangria was great! It is open until very late, (2-3am).

The waiters are super inefficient , they hardly attend you. Waiting for your food is way too long. The waiters forget what you ordered which worsens overall the service they give. I've been there a couple of times because the food is nice but stopped going only because of the service

This place is an ok bar with below average food. The sandwiches have very little meat and apettizers consist of mainly frozen premade food. Not good for having a meal, but decent to have a beer after work with colleagues. Used to open 24 hours, which made it a default afterhours hangout. Not anymore.

Nice local sandwiches! Clean for its type. Go there if you need a quick lunch! Go before 12 or after 1 though!

My wife and I each had a LARGE double sandwich. She had fries and coke. I had coffee. Total bill was $12 for a very delicious lunch. Highly recommended as lunch stop on your walking tour of Old San Juan. MUCH superior to most fast food restaurants.

Great selection in sandwiches, probably the best on the area but the service is terrible. I would only recommended just for the sandwiches.
