The best meal I had in San Juan, though not the most expensive by a long shot. Highly recommend the local dishes there.
The food is absolutely delicious! The wait staff was extremely friendly and nice. We had the trifongo and it was the absolute best we've ever had...we would know as we've tried many different places. Most places only have mofongo, but trifongo is honestly much better as it has yuca mashed in with the plantains...please try it, you won't regret it.... More
Tried it for breakfast on saturday. Place was empty. Found the breakfast menu a little expensive for some popular simple dishes. Their coffee is not bad, but you can have better in Old San Juan. Service was average. Not my favorite.
This small place in Old San Juan has excellent food and service. Prices are good. Try the "chicharrones de mero" and the "arroz manposteao". This is my second visit and I will return.
I have been going to Fefo's for quite a few years now. In my opinion, this is the best mofongo (and trifongo) in Old San Juan. And yes, I have tried them all. I only had breakfast here but it was a good experience overall. The eggs were ok but the french toast was better. Menu is nothing out of the ordinary, but the coffee is really good. Service is just fine and prices are average to non-expensive. Total value is just ok for a nice "eat & go" place.
The service was very good and all staff were very friendly. The food (recommended by the wait staff) was excellent. Both my wife and I very much enjoyed the Trifongo de Camarones. Try it with the Puerto Rican Creol Sauce.
I visited the place with my spouse and eat Trifongo with Churrasco and Paella with Mero fish. The portions and the service is ok. The place its small but perfect for where it is, The flavors are so incredible that I have to know the owner and congratulate for the business. I'm a resident in P.R. and go so many... More
Amazing Brioche Nutella french toast and their version of eggs benedict is killer. Service on the other hand is poor. very little English spoken here. We had a coupon which included two fresh fruit mimosas; we dont drink so we asked for the fresh fruit juice minus the champagne. she kept insisting that the mimosa was included. I kept insisting...
