We were warmly greeted and well taken care of. This was our first dining experience while in Puerto Rico and it did not disappoint. Grab a pitcher of sangria and know that anything on the menu is fresh and delicious!

While traipsing around Old San Juan in the blistering heat I was looking for a place to stop that served authentic Puerto Rican food (namely a great mofongo) that wasn't a tourist trap. I was directed to Fefo's by a lovely shop lady (after shelling out $16 for a painted souvenir guitar for my son). Fefo's was loaded with locals,...

Service.
Incredible. Very attentive and super sympathetic. The waiter knew the menu, the specials, was always aware of us and made sure we had everything we needed to eat.

Not a place to go if you are in a hurry. An AWESOME place to visit for great food! Fish bites are crispy and juicy with perfect tostones.... Trifongo is perfect. Food is really good, servers nice but extremely slow.
My husband and I decided on lunch here as we were anxious to try out a local restaurant. Sure enough, the restaurant was full of locals and most of the tables were full. The wait for our food was PAINFULLY slow, but once it came, all was forgiven. Both my husband's sandwich and my salad were delicious. Ordering from a...

Very knowledgeable and helpful wait staff. The whole menu is in Spanish and while my husband is Puerto Rican, he is American born, so a few food items he was unsure about. He got the Churrasco Steak mofongo and I got the Mamma Mia sandwich. It had roast beef, ham, roast pork, this really great garlic sauce on it. It...

My wife and I stopped in Fefo's after a long day of touring Old San Juan. It was a perfect seredipitous discovery. For under $30USD we received fulfilling and tasteful meal of Alioli Pasta, a Suegro Sandwich, Tea, Coffee and Coke. We ended with a fantastic Flan de Coco. A great find with a comfortable, San Juan feel. Wonderful service!...

Absolutely delicious dinner. Must have the "Tri-Fongo" which is their house specialty. I have tried different Monfongo and fongo elsewhere, but I can say that this one is on top. I ordered it with meat. I also enjoyed the house Sangria, and the coconut flan for desert. I'll definitely will go back.
We went to Fefo's for lunch and the waiter recommended a fresh white fish filet sauteed in butter with the local sides. It was a wonderful meal and we were the only tourists in the restaurant. What a great sign of what we were looking for. The next morning we returned so my wife could have her favorite Puerto Rican...
