Me and some girlfriends had dinner here one night on our vacation the food is great. The place is in town and its a local spot if u don't mind getting away from the hotel for awhile. Round trip in a taxi is 5 bucks a per person. And go around 5 or 6 pm. Local spot great eats!

Had the chicken chop suey which was delicious, fresh, hot, tasty and wonderful veggies. Very reasonably priced compared to hotel restaurants. Definitely suggest trying this little, local place.

Cute place, food was Okay.. spice is right, they do love scotch bonnet peppers. Short drive from most Negril hotels, don't recommend that you walk due to sidewalks being in bad repair unless you brought good walking shoes. As with most restaurants in Negril the prices were more at the evening meal than at lunch.

Tried a few items on the menu over my 2-week long vacation but hands down the garlic butter grilled lobster was my fav....served with rice & peas. Reasonably priced, ok atmosphere.

Great Jamaican restaurant with delicious food, great value for money, and a local ambience. LET'S SUPPORT SUCH BUSINESSES IN JAMAICA INSTEAD OF THE USUAL MUTLI-NATIONAL CORPORATIONS TAKING OVER AND EXPLOITING SUCH AREAS. GREAT restaurant with friendly staff and parking in front!

Inside is cool and quiet. Food is always very good and great value for your dollar. The owner and staff are friendly. Your water glass is kept full. The owner keeps a watchful eye on the guests and reminds staff subtly to pay attention to you. There are always a few requlars and a few tourists there when we are... More

Sweet Spice is located just beyond the traffic circle in Negril, almost across from the police station. They have perhaps the best banana milkshake I've ever had, with tasty and large dinners, usually served with a fish soup appetiser. Their menu doesn't list any alcoholic drinks, which was fine, but I noticed a bar on the other side of the... More

Place had good food but staff a bit unfriendly. Food arrived fast and was pretty good. Be aware of the hot sauces, they are hotter than we in the U.S. might be used to.

The food was amazing!!! We asked our driver where we could get some real Jamaican food and he suggested Sweet Spice. We stopped in on our way to Negril and picked up some oxtail with rice and peas, jerk chicken and escovietch fish. I have to say it was the BEST Jamaican food we had on our whole trip. It... More

We really enjoyed our meal here. We each got a bowl of delicious fish soup to start and then we (three of us) split oxtail, curried goat and escovietch fish. Each dish was very good and much better than a lot of the watered down touristy fare we kept getting from restaurants on the beach. The prices were also much... More
