This was just okay. The rum punch was gross but they did give you a souvenir cup to keep. The locals can be a little pushy. They didn't bother me but some of the peope from our resort left early because they were uncomfortable.

Unfortunately I have been to this location three times in the past 18 months (as well as the Montego Bay location once in that time frame). We live in Jamaica (temporarily from the US) and have stopped in to have lunch on our way home in Kingston after staying at one of the resorts either in Ochi or MoBay, to...

If u like to dance all night and drink like a fish with over priced drinks its the place for you. I enjoyed but more for the younger party crowd after hours
We went at 10 pm for the night club vibe. The place is very island(y). We had a great time but the boom boom dance music was not our thing and very loud. Did not experience anything else like food here or the shops.
The burgers are always good at Jimmy Buffets. They are a little pricy for Jamaica and you pay for the Jimmy Buffet name. Good music and clean but I wouldn't go out of my way to go to it. I like going to the one thats in the airport when leaving.
we cruised into ocho rios on Monday, May 6, 2013 after climbing dunns river falls and only 2-3 does were open. There were locals hanging out at the entrance will offered us drugs and sex. It was scary. We hustled back to the ship for the rest of the day. I won't be back.
The atmosphere and the food was awesome. The menu had a great variety. We walked there from Sunset Jamaica Grand through the back along the beach so we were not harassed on the way there. We took a taxi back as it was dark.
It was nice sitting by the beach eating my Cheeseburger in Paradise. Onion rings were fabulous and hot and the staff were very friendly.
Drinks are of average price. They offer some free margaritas as long as you order other things. The best buy is a bucket of beers. The other advantage to being at Margaritaville, Ocho Rios, is the fact the restaurant has it's own private beach and swimming pool. If you happen to be cruising, this is one of the safest places...

We first enjoyed a drink and then a very leisure lunch of appetizers, shared by the four of us. Lunch is definitely a little less pricey than the dinner menu. Our waitress made the visit extra special fun. The view of the cove was so invited we wished we hade more time to enjoy it.
