“Lovely view -- food so-so”

The ambience is very nice and it is perched up on the side of a mountain, so has a lovely view. But the Jamaican food was nothing special (note: I was starting to get tired of Jamaican cuisine, which isn't my favorite). Unfortunately, the service was also lukewarm.

“Great food and views”

Very good food. Excellent views. Eva was even there one night and came by our table to say hi. One of the best attributes might be the genius plan they came up with to offer a free car transfer to and from your Ochi hotel. We went twice in one week.

The idea of free Pick up & Return was thought of, when all the hotels in Ocho Rios, excluding two ONLY, went ‘All Inclusive’ and how more difficult the decision becomes, to leave the resort’s free meal AND also pay a taxi to taste what else Ocho Rios has to offer…. The service was exceptional. The wait staff, (I believe her name is Carmen) was so friendly. The owner took the time to speak with us. The driver, Douglas, was very professional and drove us from our resort to the restaurant and back to the resort. We felt safe and secure as we drove in the evening. The food was amazing!!!... More

“Wonderful dining experience!”

We had the pleasure of dining here while in Ocho Rios and the food was superior. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ms. Eva and she was so inviting to all of us, we felt like guests in her home. Ms. Eva is one gracious, beautiful lady! The view here is over the top!!!!!!

“Cute gingerbread house!”

The ambience is great set in an old Jamaican house overlooking the beach. Great Italian food with a twist of Jamaican fare and service is good.Worth a visit.

“Didn't Live up to the Hype”

I have been hearing about this restaurant for years a finally had lunch there in march and i must say it did not live up to the hype. The food and service was just average as anywhere else except that it was a bit more expensive.

“you only get good customer service when you have a big crowd”

at evitas you can look forward to an enjoyable meal,love their bread and butter,but you are not recognised by evitas herself unless you have a big crowd with you,these ppl let you feel as if you are begging them something and they are so damn expensive,the staff are poorly trained except for mr f***es who tried his best.

“Wonderful Dining Experience”

Great view, looking down on Ocho Rios. Food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the jerk spaghetti. Eva, the owner, came out to greet us personally and she was absolutely delightful. We visited the restaurant twice during out week long stay in Ocho Rios.
