We booked a table at the rail and enjoyed a great bottle of wine a few appetizers a great dinner. The staff was friendly, attentive and well versed in the menu. The view was spectacular. More

After 2 weeks eating lovely food all over barbados our verdict is Champers is best. Crab crepe - superb! The double choc brownie - stunning! We suspect few of the "top-notch" restaurants can boast such prolonged consistency. The staff are genuinely friendly- they seem pleased to see you and happy in their work: sure sign of a well run ship.... More

Our third time in Barbados and last night we had our second visit to Champers in 7 years. This is a fabulous restaurant in a very beautiful setting. Yet again this was a fine dining experience at its very best. We have tried virtually all the restaurants in Barbados including the very expensive ones and I can honestly say for... More

Advertised as a wine bar, but then served sour red wine. Both glasses of red (different types) had to be sent back. More

Service awesful! Restaurant was empty but made us sit on a couch for 20 minutes before being seated by unfriendly hostess. No apology. Food was undercooked. Red blood all over undercooked tough rack of lamb. Shrimp curry had translucent yo clear RAW shrimp! We had been to this restaurant on previous trips......Never again. Management would not even listen to complaint... More

The view is absolutely stunning, the food impecable, the service a notch or two above every place else. We didn't go to The Cliff, so we can't compare, but we were told (by people that have been to both several times) to save our money and go to Champers -that it was a better experience. They also have an art... More

The food & atmosphere at Champers is fantastic. The place is decorated to a very high standard & the food is on an equal footing. The outdoor eating area was lovely & very romantic :) As it was approaching Christmas the place was tastefully decorated & had a most amazing Christmas Tree. The staff were attentive & very helpful, however... More

Started with seared scallops & calves liver, mains were Cajun mahi mahi and rack of lamb, dessert was creme brûlée and bread pudding. We had cocktails, a bottle of chianti Classico and coffees. Bill was £150 all in and money well spent. The view across the sea was spectacular and married well with the spectacular food. Do book in advance... More

One of the more expensive restaurants in the area, but definitely worth paying for. Staff all very attentive and friendly, great choice of menu to suit different tastes. Book a table overlooking the sea for a lovely view of the Bay (even at night). More

This is a tricky one for me. The food at Champers (I have eaten there 3 times) really is very good, but sadly there are elements that really let it down. If you are sitting outside and have the seaside tables, you will get sprayed by sea water. Not a good mixer for the good bottle of wine you have... More
