On Mother's day we drove up the West Coast and found Sugar Hill for cocktails. The sign said Food, drinks and friends next left, looked impressive but really disappointed. I ordered a Virgin Mary others had pina colada and dacquaris. when the cocktails arrived there was no fruit dressing not even a cherry and my Virgin Mary was just tomato... More

Beautiful venue but average food at average prices. Staff were polite and attentive but forgot a side order. When the food arrived the side salad garnish we were promised consisted of a very small pile of lettuce. When a friend asked for some tomatoes the waitress reappeared with 3 very small slices of tomato which we when they charged $3... More

We stayed at Sugar Hill Resort, St. James parish, October 2012. The restaurant has recently been taken over by Chris and his team and we cannot praise the experience highly enough. Firstly the staff who if possible we would have brought home with us, we were welcomed like royalty and treated as old friends. They couldn't do enough for us... More

We were staying at Sugar Hill so this was a short walk through the gardens. No driving so no restrictions on the cocktails - which were delicious. Service was excellent and the food very tasty. lovely view over the infinity pool.

We were staying at Royal Westmoreland and passed the sign for this place daily which is located in the Sugar Hill development on the West Coast. Somehow the sign never invited us in but a tennis partner suggested the restaurant was great for Sunday lunch with great views of the West Coast. We couldn't make Sunday lunch but went for... More

We enjoyed our meals, and were fortunate to have chosen an evening with live music which always adds to the ambiance. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful pool which overlooks the whole coast. My husband's catch of the day was amazing, my red snapper was good, but not excellent. We were the first ones in the restaurant and yet it seemed... More

We had a great lunch here. Excellent food in a totally relaxing environment, where the views of the island's greenery inland made a change from the sands and seas of similar restaurants. A bit of a shame we couldn't continue our time here with a languid half hour in the pool which the restaurant overlooks; apparently that's for residents only.... More
