Went to the Southampton Princess for a birthday weekend (thanks to my wife) and we went here one night. Not too many restaurants get so many things right. Fantastic service; great food, terrific ambiance; this is a restaurant experience you will definitely remember.

We were a large group and the staff kindly accommodated us. The food was excellent and although known for their steak, they offers wide variety of fish and seafood. Their wine list is extensive. Perhaps because we were a large group, our dinner was over 3 hours, however, the staff was friendly and eager to please.

You just feel special when you go to a place like this and, in the main, people dress for the occasion which adds to the ambience. Great, high quality food, attentive service in surroundings that just reek class means that I never minded the final total of the bill. Wife was happy and glowing therefore I was happy.

What is there to add. The selection on the menu is enough for even the pickiest eater, the wine list is impressive and the atmosphere is elegant yet feels casual and comfortable.
