My partner and I stayed 3 nights at the Denali Park Hotel about a mile away. This restaurant was recommended to us as we didn't have a car and it was a pleasant walk away. We ate dinner there the first night and each had a salmon dinner while splitting a bottle of New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc; a great... More

We had an excellent meal in a pleasant environment. This is a preferred option for dinner in the Denali area if you want to dine well. More

Had a light meal 2 days ago and food was good, even though a little pricy. Returned to be given the meal from hell. Salad and soup were OK as was the bread. The Alaskan Halibut at $30.00 was small and apart from the few green beans the rest of the stuff on the pate was deep fried and dripping... More

On our last night at Denali, we decided to eat at the Black Diamond Grill. It was one of the best meals that we had while visiting Alaska last July! The grill is located near a golf course with the mountains in the background. The hostess and wait staff were all very attentive and cheerful. We had the special for... More

We ate here only because 229 Parks was closed to the public for a wedding, but it was really excellent. The portions were good sized and the service was prompt and friendly. I had the salmon special and my husband had a NY steak. Both entrees were perfectly cooked and seasoned. They had many selections on the wine list that... More

The Black Diamond Grill is located in the club house of the Black Diamond Golf Course (Note: Parking is limited!). It doesn’t look like much and the décor isn’t the greatest, but the food is quite good. In particular, the house “Garden Salad” is fantastic and probably the best I’ve seen. I believe that the salad’s contents change with what... More

We stayed nearby the grill and it was the closest thing going. At first we thought it would just be sandwiches and such. Boy, were we surprised. The food was delicious, gourmet even. The salads were yummy with creative touches. The food was presented nicely, good sauces, good quality. The wine list was also decent and the mark-ups not bad.... More

My family had a very good dining experience last year in July. We had the grilled Alaskan salmon and seafood sampler entrees. Everything was cooked properly, and we enjoyed bread starter with balsamic vinegar while waiting on our food. More

We had dinner here in August 2008 because we were staying nearby at the Denali Lakeview Inn. It had beautiful views all around, and the food was not lacking either. We had beer battered fries, pasta, chicken, and great dessert. Service was pretty good too. More

We dined here in August of 2008. I had the prime rib, which was excellent. My husband had the house specialty, the ribs. Not good at all. I think the food was ok, as was the service overall. More
