Not many people were there eating. We decided to give it a go.
The place is clean, they have a salad buffet which you can share with anyone otherwise they would charge even tough this not an "all you can eat buffet".
Concept fish salad was good instead of chips but the average price was $15, we found it expensive...

When you're near the entrance to Denali National Park, make sure and stop at this fish n chips place - the one with the yellow banner.
It's a small place with wonderful food. Everything tasted homemade, unlike all the places service Sysco Systems food in the lower 48. I had the best chicken tenders and mashed potatoes, and my husband...

This is a really rustic place. It has the atmosphere and ambiance of an old time tavern. There are multiple levels and creaky wood floors and steps.
The food was quite good and the people were friendly. Service was a tad slow but considering how busy it was there I was thankful we received well done food and in timely...

When you get tired of everything else and you are looking for casual but good food, this is the place to go. We had both cod and halibut, and they were both good. Friendly staff, but a little slow, but was worth the wait!!
On our first night in Denali we were unsure where to eat, one of our group fancied Fish and Chips. Good choice. Cooked to order. The chicken strips were exceptional, 3 chicken breasts. All food was reasonable priced and the staff were excellent.
We went for simple fish and chips and found they also had a small salad bar. Average food but it was exactly what we wanted and we really appreciated the salad bar. Not overpriced and service came with a huge smile.
Food was prices accordingly with other local eateries, but was not as fresh or as large of portions. Under staffed, although the girl working was friendly and quick on her feet. Will probably not be back due to lack of flavor and variety.
The food was hot, it was filling, but it was not much better than average. I was expecting fresher tasting fish. However, we did really enjoy the view thru their big picture window as we ate.
I ordered the halibut fish and chips but substituted the salad bar for the chips. One high calorie food seemed to be enough. The salad bar was wonderful, very fresh. The fish seemed to gave been cooked a little too much and for the price was certainly not a good bargain. Wait staff is very friendly.
