Was given a tip to try here Monday Night for their half roast duck special - delicious. Couldn't eat it all but took the rest home so I could have it for breakfast... Large tasty meal for a reasonable price, nice comfortable setting.

This restaurant was a great find when staying across the street at Jula Place. The food was delicious - loved the schnitzel! Also had Thai food on another visit which was fantastic. Nice and clean restaurant, friendly and welcoming staff, cold beers, and terrific food. What more could you ask for?

The food was great, the service was nice. The only negative moment was the strawberry milkshake which had neither milk nor strawberry in it and tasted like cough syrup. The rest was great and we would probably come back there again.

For anyone looking for a real German food experience, Captain Hook offers some of the best, the roast duck is the best this side of Germany, service is friendly and efficeint, highly reccommended.

After reading the great reviews, it was disappointing to find that there is nowhere to park, and then there was the unfriendly waitress who would rather boil in oil than crack a smile. Nice bar near Chalong Circle on a side street. Good for a beer and they have good German food, especially Roast duck. Used to only be available on Mondays, but you can now get every day of the week, although arrive early to not miss out. Sometimes have to wait a little, but it is worth it!
