On a recent trip to Melbourne I had the opportunity to dine with friends at this establishment. The service was prompt and we were comfortably seated in a leather-clad booth. The menu choices were varied but also accommodated our vegetarians. The local fish (barramundi) was superb, as was the shepherd pie of the day;but the goats' cheese tart stole the... More

I first visited Little Creatures Dining Hall in 2010 and made a return trip with my wife today. It is well worth making the effort (as we did in rain and bitter Melbourne weather!) to get out to Fitzroy (we were staying in Soutbank). This place is trendy and funky, but not in a try-hard way. It's down-to-earth, unpretentious and... More

Lots of people, at lots of huge tables. A very sociable place. Certainly nothing quiet about it. Talking loudly is a necessity. Good beers. Good food for sharing with friends. A nice casual, comfortable place to meet up with groups of friends.

We have visited LCDH on a number of occasions now. Just the ticket for some time out, with great beers and an extensive range of shared meals available. The serves are huge and the service is smart and personable. Prices are quite reasonable, great music mix and the dining space is huge. Warehouse meets factory fitout, very cool.

Headed here for dinner while spending a few days in Melbourne. Definitely worth a visit here. Serving up delicious Little Creatures beers on tap and decent pub foot. Cool atmosphere.

Had lunch here and it was enjoyable. Not a fancy up market venue more a laid back take your time pub environment, but you could also bring the family here for a meal only. Has a variety of seating options and would be pretty good for larger groups of people. Little creatures is founded in a heritage of craft (specialty)... More

We were in Brunswick street, doing a spot of retail therapy, and stumbled accross this fabulous dining hall! It is a huge space which has been used in an excellent way, and much to look at! We were in a group of 6 two little creatures included, and we fitted nicely into one of their booths! It is a groovy... More

While your browsing the eclectic Brunswick Street don' t miss Little Creatures Dining Hall, and hall it is. Not just a room but a converted warehouse fitted out with a large bar selling numerous beers and ciders and seating areas for numerous groups of people. It can be hard to feel comfortable in such a large space but the owners... More

Food is overpriced but good, and the atmosphere is that of a typical diner. The music is a bit too loud IMO. Beer list is short but decent.
