O'Grady's was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Not only is it located beautifully on the water, but it has an excellent array of seafood and other selections.

Hubby and I visited here as part of our monthly tour of Galway restaurants, all the years I'm living in Barna and I've never been there! I remember hearing stories of a drunken French chef who'd come out to the fireplace while people were dining and talk loudly to everyone. When you arrive, staff don't acknowledge you and then you... really talented chef!!! we were 2, had 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 desert, each plate was better than the previous one! (only one thing we had salmon with asparagus risotto, the risotto was a bit disappointing, but perfectly balance by the best salmon ever!!!!!). really good place, recommend to every one!!

The food was amazing - we had four different dishes and they were all fantastic. We were 20 minutes late to our reservation due to my inability to find street signs but the staff was friendly and had saved our reservation for us. We were seated upstairs by a window and the view was beautiful. Can't wait to return!

We loved going to a restaurant along the shore of beautiful Barna, Galway. Our food was perfect. The salmon was the freshest ever and the presentation stunning. We were in a group and everyone raved about their dishes. The staff was wonderful. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint. Award winning restaurant worth the visit. One in Galway too.

This is a great spot by the sea and beach looking over to the Burren landscape. On dry day you can sit outside and smell the sea air. The meals are of a good standard especially the fish based ones. Try the muscles in garlic.

We sat upstairs where there was a great view of the water. The seafood was fresh and prepared in a very creative fashion. The staff was very friendly although they were busy. We were there on a Friday night and it was packed. The appetizers were very good. I don't think there is a bad thing on the menu. We... More

Having been based in Galway for several weeks, this became a regular for a colleague and I. The seafood is superb and very well priced. The chef applies a light but informed touch to the preparation and delivery of truly memorable seafood. The cod, salmon, scallops, plaice - all were presented at Michelin star quality. It is a sister restaurant... More
