Tucked away under the Tokyo tower, a very traditional building with a gorgeous garden. As the name suggest, it's a tofu cuisine restaurant, but it doesn't only do tofu well. Service was very good, but communication and description of dishes in English was somewhat lacking. Over a p,easing experience.

It's another Ukai series restaurant - the same atmosphere but smaller scale of Japanese garden but it's in the centre of Tokyo which makes most people convenient to visit. Ancient looking garden and building all recently created to give you taste of old Japan. Cannot beat the view of Tokyo tower. Taken family and business clients many times. Food is very good but not gourmet. Probably to big a restaurant to have great food.
