The location was awesome. To be at a restaurant with the name purgatory right behind the church! The food was good typical Catalan. The wine was delicious and the service very friendly. A very good 'away from the crowd' inside tip! Eat with the locals. You have to try the pan de tomate and cheese variety...

Great little gem restaurant. We ate outside in summer - just by the side of a church. Very relaxed. Simple, country food. Nothing fancy. But very tasty and wholesome. Friendly service. Good value,

Beautiful little place in Vilafranca. Not sure if it is open for lunch but we went for dinner and it was fantastic. The menu is basically choices of salads and then served breads, ham and cheese afterwards. Its not really a three course meal sort of place.
