A wonderful restaurant to eat inside or out. Beautifully prepared dishes typical of Mallorca such as goat, suckling pig, paella and frito mallorquin. It was so good that we spent 3 consecutive nights eating there! Yolande was a fantastic host!

This restaurant had been recommended by locals and we were very much looking forward to trying it. On a Sunday evening in May there were only two couples in the restaurant, including us. As a result of the lack of customers, all the meals were obviously microwaved. We ordered "suckling pig" which is supposed to be a speciality. Even though...

Went back to this restaurent with wife and friends and we had the lamb and goat. The food was badly cooked and tough and could only eat the vegetables. The only good thing was that the waitress offered to change the food but we decided to leave and she did not charge for the food we did not eat, Does...

Have been visiting Zarzales for several years on our holidays to Port de P.... and I'd not want to miss doing so. The staff are charming, and we've never not eaten well, although it is maybe a bit on the priceier-than-should-be side. Also, this latest visit featured an unappetising rose wine (vastly inferior to that served at English-run restaurants locally),...

His wife - Yolande...

We had seen a poster about the Flamenco evenings so decided to check the place out and were so pleased we did. It is tucked down a side street but a lovely setting with gardens with very fragrant flowers and where they grow some of the fruit they use in the restaurant. The food was lovely - Mallorcan with a...

The stuffed fresh pasta Zarzales style in a truffle sauce was truly amazing. For our appetizer, we liked the fried mushrooms with garlic and ham. The night we were there, they had a flamenco show. Nice evening, didn't break the bank, would definitely return.
We went more than once including the night they had live Flamenco. I know its a Spanglish holiday cliche and not a Catalan thing at all but it was still great fun and the food was superb.
Offal frittos, rabbit, great fresh local fish. Everything I had I liked, tried about a dozen restaurants in Porto Pollensa, this was the...

Its a shame that I have read some bad reviews.
We have just come back from a week in Puerto Pollensa and visited Los Zarzales 3 times for dinner!! We fell upon the restauraunt tucked down a side walk after wondering for ages trying to find a 'nice restaurant' (no burgers, no chips etc...). Food on night one was wonderful....

Made very welcome by the charming waitress. I had mixed tapas with a drink for under €8. Will be going on Sunday for the Flamenco and a main meal. Highly recommended.
