Formerly the Curry Cottage this indian offers a decent curry at a decent price. The recent refurbishment was needed and has been done to a high standard. Service is always swift and friendly and is easily the best in the vicinity. Take away portions and value are good. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I went to the Ganges recently and found the service second to none, its the most welcoming place ive ever been to. The food was amazing, well presented and without any lenghly wait! The atmosphere was great and the staff were really friendly. I will definitely be returning in the near future and would recomend it to anyone

We only had a take away meal and it was poor, not to the same standard have been previously when curry cottage and food was great take away & eaten in restaurant

we recently stayed at the pelican hotel across the road and were extremely impressed with the quality of the food in the ganges have a great menu choice and their prices were very reasonable. with great staff members who were very friendly and more than happy to help would definitely come again

I have been to the curry cottage many times over the last 10years and ordered food for takeaway and think the place is lovely. The food is divine and the staff are so friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Got to say this was so tasteless We eat out lots. We experience lots of curry places around the northwest. It's such a shame this place lays with the old typical no effort style curry house. Where every curry seems similar. No matter what dish type you order. Very poor food

We've lived in sale all our lives but never been here, as we tend to eat in the town centre. We tried this restaurant because of the reviews on here, and weren't disappointed!
