We sort this place out as it was given a good rating and a Lonely Planet mention....why did we bother??? The price is cheap but the food is not very good and the service is terrible. Westerners are treated differently to Asians. We were charged for three items we hadn't had and there wasn't a smile to be had. I... More

The lovely girl who was on the street to show me the menu talked me into trying their fresh spring rolls which are my favourite. Unfortunately this is where the good stopped. I walked in & sat down and waited & waited & waited whilst at least 10 staff walked past me and not once acknowledged me. Eventually I got... More

I was a bit weary about eating here because of all the mixed reviews but in actual fact, the food was great. Better than great, even delicious. I ate here about 5 or 6 times and never once had a bad meal. And its soooooo cheap. Two meals and two beers would come to about 4 dollars. Can't complain? Well... More

I ate the tofu with lemongrass at this restaurant and it was a horrible mistake. I couldn't eat tofu and lemongrass for the rest of my time in Vietnam after this meal. It was so greasy and MSG laced every time I saw tofu and lemongrass on a menu I would think about it. I wouldn't care about the poor... More

We have been to Phan Thiet evry single summer and holiday since 2011 and everytime we were there, we went to Lam Tong for lunch and dinner, coz breakfast is catered at the resort. The place is within our walking distance from Sunrise resort and most resorts in that area. The food here varies from Asian cuisine to European one,... More

This place has such tiny portions that it's pathetic. The food tastes so so. My suggestion...walk out and along the road there are many stalls by the roadside. Pick your favourite seafood, get it weighed and get them to barbeque it for you. I paid around $10 for a kg of mussels and stuff. Way better than Lam Tong. The... More

We visited here with a family we met whilst staying in Mui Ne. We ordered a large whole fish and were given the option of having it steamed or barbequed with garlic/chilli sauce. Went the bbq option and it was delicious, although a tad overcooked. Ordered a mixed vegetable dish and rice plus the kids had a huge selection of... More

The food was greasy and not fresh at all. My friend got sick after eating there. The place is dirty. But for having no veggie options elsewhere we ate there also because it was recommended by Lonely Planet. Do not eat there unless you like bad food. Most disappointing eating experience in Vietnam which is pretty hard to do.

I live in Mui Ne so I have been there so many time because my friends want to check it out as it got recommendation from Lonely Planet. The food was good. The staffs are not seem friendly, or they don't care about taking care of customers coz the restaurant are too busy already. Overall, not too bad!
