However, was disappointed with the soiled carpets in the Family Room. Breakfast was basic ( cold cuts, boiled eggs , cereal, breads , juice -no water) , but not included in the hotel price, so we only ate there one morning. 24- hour McDonalds is right next door --- could be somewhat noisy up to 2:00 in the morning with late night party- goers.   "We stayed at B&B Hotel Herne during Mese Essen in Oktober. The Hotel is clean and modern decorated. The breakfest is extra payed ( about 7 Euro/person). You have a choice from cerials, jam, honey, eggs, chees and ham (not particulary good quality). It is tasty, but I strongly felt the lack of vegeta..."bles and prefert to eat Mc cafe menu italian style with salat, tomato and mozarella. Mc'Donalds nearby is a strong atitude of this B&B because they don't serve any othet meals than breakfest and there is hardly a place to sit in a group just to talk about. When we met with friends from the room nearby to talk in our room we were asked by the staff to go somewhere else becaus the truck drivers from the next room wanted to sleep at 9 p.m. Besides that the staff is english-speaking and quite helpful but it is onely available till 10 p.m. There is a frre Wi-Fi Internet available.
