The location is great, very close to the centre of Ystad and only a short walk from the train station with its regular trains to Malmö/Simrishamn and so on. The room was clean and comfortable, and the decor was very Swedish if perhaps slightly dated. Free wifi in room. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. Can't compete with the large spreads you get at some of the bigger chains in Sweden, but still a perfectly nice selection with something for everyone. In short, a good choice if you want to get away from the soulless chain hotels and seek charm over flashy modern amenities. " More >

  "First of all, great location and surroundings by all means. A total relaxation by the seaside, with stylish interiors, exquiste service and amazing food served both for dinner and breakfast. We took a "Sunday Lazy" package, which included an overnight stay, a 2-course dinner (browned butter veal is ..."very much recommended for main course, tastes absolutely amazing!), a rich breakfast and a spa entrance for two. We stayed in a room with a direct seaside view and never regretted the more expensive choice. The rooms are not too big, but very somfortable and well decorated in marine-style.
