  "Not many people stop in Geraldine. If you are cycling around South Island Geraldine is a perfect stop on the way towards lake Tekapo from Christchurch or Methven. I didn't book a room, just tried my luck in early afternoon. They had a bed for me, I asked for the cheapest option, but got a double..." bed room for the same price! The bed was super comfortable, which is nice after a few days camping on hard ground:) All the facilities are nice and spacious, also a nice garden where you can eat your meals.
