  "Our family recently stayed for two nights and we enjoyed it very much. We stayed in one of the family rooms (sleeps four) in the top of the house and there was plenty of room for us all. The room was very clean and tidy and nicely furnished. The en-suite bathroom, while compact, was perfectly fine, ..."clean and a great use of space. Barbara and the staff are very friendly and helpful and it was great to practice our German (though Barbara also speaks perfect English). Barbara kindly reserved a table for us for dinner our first night and we had the same table for breakfast and dinner throughout our stay. It was a generously sized table, which was appreciated since the children made use of the magazines, books and colouring pencils to amuse themselves during our meals. The food was excellent and the majority of it is locally sourced. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with breads, speads, cereal,hard-boiled eggs, cold cuts, fruit salad and cheeses.   "Frau Dold runs a superb Guesthouse of three self contained and self catering apartments of different sizes. She runs them with quiet efficiency and enthusiasm. She could not be more helpful. The apartment was located in a residential area of town but still had good views of the surrounding countrys..."ide, and of course was convenient for shops and restaurants, and for buses around the area for which you get a free pass. It was equipped with everything needed, but was economically priced. A sauna is available on the premises for a reasonable charge. St Peter is a pleasant village with a very imposing church. Good walks are available directly from the villages and the area around is well worth walking into, so what direction you choose. All in all a perfect place for a group winter escape. " More >

  "We went on a very busy holiday weekend, making it a little more difficult for the hostess to keep up with all of the people who were coming and going all day. The rooms were large, lavish and comfortable. The hot tub is accessible from outside (2 meters of snow in Feb.) and from inside the restaur..."ant. Plus we would have needed to tell them when we wanted to use it so they could get it ready. We decided it was not worth it. Beautiful location and the cafe 2 doors down was wonderful for coffee and cakes. Would love to go back again! " More >
