  "Stayed at what is now called The Guadiana River hotel, the hotel is in a lovely location next to the Guadiana river, The town of Alcoutim is within easy walking distance with several restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is compact with a large outdoor swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers also..." had a smaller pool albeit some way from the main pool. We eat in the hotel restaurant twice during our stay and the meals where good and not to pricey for a hotel. The room we were in could have done with a bit of a facelift specially in the bathroom, room had air conditioning, needed at the height of summer, room also had a TV. but then for the price we paid €20 a night with bed and breakfast for 2 persons in September the room and bathroom were more than adequate. The hotel advertised tennis courts, they looked as though they had not been used for sometime which was a shame because they looked fairly serviceable, just needed a tidy up.   "The Hotel is situated right on the Guadiana River. The views from the lovely pool area are stunning. We had a very nice room that backed onto the pool area.
