The bathroom was quite a snug room, with a startling lilac toilet seat and matching shower curtain. Please, consider it quaint; everything seems to have been done with such pride. The balcony was small, but just big enough for a couple of small chairs - unfortunately, there weren't any, which was the biggest let-down. I really wanted to sit on that balcony and eventually took a chair out from inside, but it didn't feel the same as having a couple of balcony chairs out there.   "We had a wonderful week in Hotel Jaccarino. The meals were delicious, we didn't need go out to look for somewhere to eat for a change, every evening the choice was good, the waiters were lovely and welcoming and the atmosphere was good. The hotel was great, all the staff, pool, bar, reception are..."a, shuttle bus to Sorrento - all good. The only thing was the 1st room we had was very small and overlooking the back alley, a bit disappointing. We were able to change after 2 days, and got a room with a small balcony with a nice view of the mountains, so we were happy then. Several other also people chopped and changed, so I would recommend anyone booking there, check the room they require has a balcony and/or view. I would definitely go back and stay there again. We went to Sorrento, Pompeii and had a couple of bus trips to see around the coast, but missed out on seeing Capri and the Amalfi coast - there's loads to see... " More >

  "We chose this hotel, as we didn’t want to be in Sorrento, but wanted to be very near. The drive from Naples to the hotel took a good hour, so car hire is recommended as the taxi each way is expensive. Once at the hotel, it is not necessary to drive again thanks to all the great transportation around..." the area. The rooms are very comfortable and the unique locally made ceramic tiles make it all the better. Although we didn’t book a sea/Sorrento view, you can see from the uploaded photos that we didn’t suffer for it. The free shuttle bus is fantastic and has plenty of times, which you have to book in advance. The diver is great and does not drive like a maniac, which is a real bonus, especially if you’ve just had dinner! The views are spectacular, especially from the breakfast room and the bedrooms that overlook Sorrento. The breakfast consists of mainly pastries and bread, so don’t expect a full English.
