  "We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at this hotel on Lake Como. We stayed on an all inclusive basis with Shearings Holidays. We had a basic room at the back of the Hotel. It was very comfortable. Bed linen and towels clean, decorative and changed regularly. The Hotel catered for a large number of guests but we never had a problem finding a table at mealtimes. Meals were all buffet style. The food was plentiful, with a good choice of starters, mains and desserts, (not Michelin standard but this is a 3* hotel).There was always something to suit our taste. Staff were around to serve wine and water and to clear away used plates etc.without being intrusive. Packed lunches were available if we were going out all day.   "We stayed at this hotel on a Leger coach tour and paid extra for a lake view with balcony.We were in room 321 which has two balconies as it is a corner room. It was very clean and comfortable. Considering how many people were served in the dining room I think the waiting staff did very well,there ..."was a good choice of food, no limit to how much you could have !! Lovely salads etc. O.K. the bar wasn't anything special but the drinks were free and plentiful ,and we enjoyed it after our evening stroll along the the lakeside. " More >

Paulo is a wonderful host and front man for the family, full of helpful advice and local knowledge. The villa is perfectly located between 2 ferry stops with great access to Bellagio, Varenna and Vil..."la Carlotta. There are great eating places in easy walking distance as well as by ferry.
