We stay here several times throughout the ski season, it's our Hurd visit here this year- and the dinner is simply astonishing- we always choose "the menu" although you can go a la carte. Our supper tonight was home made so..."up "Parisienne" then a fish stew, followed by canard et foie gras, then a selection of cheeses, and a delicious dessert. A chef who cooks with passion and invention, friendly and professional waiting staff and really lovely owners. The rooms can be small. Sometimes the plug sockets are not where you would like them to be. Some of the rooms are a little tired. But we are here to ski, to have a relaxing drink by a roaring fire before we eat, to enjoy a wonderful dinner, and to have a comfortable bed with a good nights sleep..   "Well located for skiing in Auron."
  "We went skiing in late March as it was the only time available to us. We were worried there wouldn't be enough snow. Not a problem. Almost too much. The skiing is great with good lifts. No queues and good long runs. This hotel is ideal for a skiing base. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is ..."a secure ski room. It is directly across the square from the gondola which brings you up to height. Ski hire everywhere around. Our room was small but there was an in room vestibule where suitcases and stuff could be left. The bathroom was a good size and clean. Good shower. Breakfast was typically continental with boiled egg, ham and cheese, warm croissants, good coffee etc. plenty of restaurants around. Le Chaumiere and the Grange D'Aur were very acceptable and welcoming. " More >

  "EVERYTHING WAS GREAT"
  "It is a small hotel, not fancy but located in the heart of the station managed by great people, friendly and helpful and very patient with kids....The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is really good, pretty healthy and tasty. We did not stay too long because it was the end of the seas..."on but I recommend this place. Just one regret, no playroom for kids. " More >
