  "We planned our stay at Fattoria Casa Sola in mid May and it was a perfect timing. We did not expect it would be located so discretely among vineyards and woods, the property has several houses which are not close to each other. We enjoyed the experience of being closer to the nature, sometimes even ..."unusual being surrounded by so much silence. We found the location convenient for traveling to Florence and Siena, also other lovely villages to explore Tuscany. Nevertheless, we would prefer for the next time a location closer to a village, for a different experience and avoid driving at night. Our apartment was in a rustic style, with modern renovation and private terrace. We loved the equipped kitchen and nice living room. In the evenings and mornings you can hear/see the deers around the house. The wine is fantastic and taking a wine tasting tour with Casa Sola is a must to understand Chianti wines.   "We had a wonderful time. The house/appartment provided more than generous space (we took the second largest option - 1A) and we had plenty of space for 3 adults and 3 children. Everything is clean and the kitchen has good appliances and enough utensils to work with. The gardens and surrounding areas..." are just beautiful. Even though the weather was not helping we had a great time and the help and guidance provided by Giuseppe and his family was superb. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the swimmingpool as much as we would have liked to (again, the weather did not help), we could use it a couple of times and it was clean and modern. The house is located away from the village of barberino (we actually were looking for some peace and quiet) and it will take you a 5 min. car ride to get to the next shop. There are some good restaurants in Barberino if you do not feel like cooking. All in all we had a great time. Thanks!! " More >
