We’ve stayed there before and we keep coming back because it is truly an incredible experience. When you drive into the front entry you pass a beautiful cascading waterf..."all surrounded by Hawaiian flowers, smells and sounds. Instant serenity after a long flight. You are then greeted with Aloha smiles and lays-necklaces from the staff (I am now in my happy place). This time we travelled with my brother and kids and the front desk staff put us in side-by side rooms with an adjoining balcony. This was an extra special touch from the Grand Wailea staff that allowed our kids to play together seamlessly. Very thoughtful.   "This is a beautiful property, the service is top notch and the beach is unbeatable. We stayed at the hotel for three nights and really enjoyed the location and the amenities. The beach is by far the best on Maui (we've also stayed in Hana and Kaanapali) and it is great to have chairs and umbrellas..." set up for you by the staff. They have an adult only pool if you don't want to get splashed by kids at play. The restaurants are excellent...and the breakfast was exceptional (especially for a buffet). It just doesn't get any better. As a side note: there was a conference going on while we were there but it wasn't a distraction at all...the service was still quick and personal and we had no problem with access to the pool, beach or restaurants.
