  "My partner and I spent 7 nights from 11th may after a tour of Sri Lanka. We booked through kuoni and pick kuramathi as it was best value for what we wanted. We took a seaplane from male which was 15 mins and arrived early morning. Transfers were well organised and was able to use kuramathi 's loung..."e. Although we may of only waited 20mins or so. It was nice to help ourselves to cold drinks and biscuits. The views of the atolls are amazing so have your camera at the ready. We had a warm welcome on the jetty and was given a refreshing drink and cold towel. We were asked to take a seat and a member of staff came over and gave us our key and gave us some information about the island. We were taken to our jacuzzi water villa by mini bus. We had JWV 242 which was right by one f the snorkelling channels. The villa lives up to the brochure and more! The decking is impressive and plenty of room to sunbathe and enjoy the views.   "We stayed on Kuramathi between 8th – 18th May. We arrived at the airport after a 10 hour flight. I was impressed how quick we went through customs and collected our luggage. I wasn’t very impressed with the 2 hour wait for the sea plane. The lounge that you wait is very nice and air conditioned, b..."ut after a long flight you just want to get to your room. We were then told that our luggage couldn’t come with us as the plane was too heavy? When we actually got on the sea plane we found that this was due to a German couple who had 6 large suitcases between them! We had to land at another island to drop them and their luggage off, and then it took a further 10 minutes to Kuramathi. I hate flying but I quite enjoyed the sea plane – the views are stunning. The only thing I would say is that it is like sitting in a flying fan oven! The heat is unbelievable no air con – you have to use the flight safety card to try and keep some air moving around you!
