There was a $17 daily resort fee but we booked it through Virgin Holidays so this was included in the package price. There was no restaurant in the hotel, only the poolside bar which also served food (the turkey burgers and chips were really good). We ate out the rest of the time since there were loads of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. We had breakfast out as well - there was a Denny's about 15 min walk away which was good. There was also a nice little cafe the same distance in the opposite direction where we had fresh fruit, yogurt, smoothies, etc (think it was called Dive something or other). I really liked that we were able to walk to different places around Kihei when we didn’t feel like driving. We noticed that some of the other complexes sit far back from the street so it would be a little longer walk just getting out of the complex. We stayed in unit A402 which was at the front of the building. We really liked that we could sit on our lanai and see the ocean. The unit was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was plenty big for us as a couple, and can see it would still be comfortable for four people. The condo was stocked with everything we needed as far as kitchen appliances, beach towels, etc. It was a nice touch to get the coffee and macadamia candy as a welcome.
