The sleep number mattress provided a great night’s sleep, and waking up to the beautiful view outside the window in the morning was breathtaking. The bathroom was also amazing as it provided a tone of room to move around, and shelving that had several toiletries, extra towels, and even beach towels! The shower, however, was my favourite part of the washroom, as I have been in so many hotels that were either small, cramped, lacked heat and/or shower pressure which was not the case here!   "Our two night stay in The Hilo Bay Room was a delight. The room was tastefully decorated and very roomy with a refrigerator, dishes, silverware and wine glasses. After spending a day sightseeing on the most beautiful side of the Island we would come back to eat our dinner on the patio with a view o..."f Hilo Bay. After eating we would be either in the hammock or enjoying the swing. We wish we could duplicate the peaceful setting at home. Garvin and Laura have provided a wonderful home for travelers. The breakfasts were delicious and we had the best french toast we have ever tasted. One day after sightseeing we came back to find Laura feeding the donkeys. What a fun time watching and hearing how they bought this property and after much hard work turned it into an organic farm, This is definitely the place to stay. " More >
