Our cabin was spacious, warm, cosy - it was a pleasure to be back at the end of an outdoorsy cold day. Breakfast was served next door in the cafe (although during high season meals are served in the main building of the ranch) - hearty preparations of eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, and crispy hash browns. They did have cable TV and internet access for modern amenities, but everything else was appropriately rustic and peaceful. There was still snow on the ground, but the property was quite clean. Liz, the front desk person, was delightful. We enjoyed a few long conversations with her. The dinner at their restaurant was surprisingly delicious. They packed us a bag lunch for our travel into Yellowstone the following day, and it was a real value for the amount of food we were given, including homemade chocolate chip cookies.
