However once inside, it's quite nice! The lobby is well done and comfortable. This seems to be either a new property or newly remodeled. My room had two "true" queen beds (I've discovered some mid-priced hotels have "small" queen beds). The hotel was quiet, and they promote the soundproof construction of the rooms. There was a nice sized min-frig and small microwave, and a flat screen TV with lots of channel choices. The staff are very friendly. The free breakfast had items that I don't find elsewhere.   "The proprietor is a wealth of information about the area. We had a wonderful stay. She upgraded our room so we can be right across from our friends. The breakfast is out of this world and free. I would recommend this to anyone who is in the Chippewa Falls area."

The owner is a sweetheart, and you could tell this hotel is dear to her!! The rooms aren't large, but definitely adequate. They also include a microwave and refridgerator, which is a must for us.
