The hotel has thoughtfully placed a separate ski valet building at the top of those stairs for overnight ski storage. A boot room is located just inside the main entrance to the hotel. Clay Brook is also located just below the "Gatehouse" day lodge with cafeteria, day lockers / bag storage, guest services, etc. It's not truly ski in / ski out, but again, very well located & recommended. The hotel is new, and our 1 BR unit was located on the 3rd floor with living space (full kitchen, living room with gas fplc, dining room, 1/2 bath & stacked W/D unit) down, and a master BR upstairs.   "We stayed here while skiing at sugarbush, very close to the slopes and shuttle available. Peter and Susan are delightful and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was excellent providing great fuel for a day on the mountain. We were in the mountain room, comfy bed, warm gas fireplace, enjoyed..." the jetted tub as well.
