  "We visited the Gloria Palace in the middle of May, and overall had a lovely stay there. We never go back to the same hotel again, but I can recommend this hotel as a great place for a holiday. I have just read a previous review which stated that they were not given enough information at check-in ..."about the hotel, and what was and was not included in the all-inclusive package. I fully agree with this comment. Our flight was delayed and we arrived 3 hours late at 11.40pm. The young lady at reception who checked us in spoke hardly any English, and i think she was actually French. She amended the meal time details written on back of our key-card sleeve and gave us a sheet of paper with information about the hotel... and that was it! We were all exhausted after being delayed so long and we were not offered a drink or any food. We took it upon ourselves to go into the bar (which was closing) and ask for a drink.   "We have spent a very pleasant week at the San Augustin Beach Club. The facilities are luxurious and all encompassing. There are two bathing pools - one with sea water. The restaurant has a master chef who is very imaginative. The system of full table waiting is much more ellegant than a simple buffe..."t and one can ask for many servings. The staff throughout the hotel is very pleasant and forthcoming to acommodate. Milla, Tonhi, Dragica, Allain and others really do put in good effort in their work. Our room was spacious and with an impressive sea view. It was also done up to a very high standard daily. I must also praise the staff from the wellness centre led by Arantza and Jazmine. The hotel is on a quiet part of the coast but still near other beaches - apart from the hotel's one - and perfect for a good rest. The evening and day programmes are there but very discreetly.   "The hotel was nicely laid out and very clean. We stopped all inclusive and had a great time. The positives were the pool area (heated), the nice rooms, the friendly staff and the quality of the all inclusive drinks (Irish coffees are really nice). The negatives are the quite location ( nothing anywh..."ere near), the cost of the Spa and indoor pool (not included in our package even though pictured in the brochure) and the roof terrace also not being included. The food was good quality but after four or five days became somewhat monotonous. The most disappointing thing on the holiday was that he only bad open on an evening was the main bar in the entertainment room. The pool bar and large outside bar closed at about 6pm even though the pool was open until 8pm. Only having one bar open meant that we had to listen to the poor evening entertainment.
