  "We checked in early on a Friday afternoon and was warmly greeted by the bell staff and the front desk. They told us that the upgrade to the king room with a view wasn't ready. We could have a double with a view or a king without a view. Since we weren't there for the view we gladly took the king ..."room, but it had a lovely view of the pool area. Our room was nicely decorated and clean. We had a fridge which came in handy since I had stopped on my way in and bought drinks. I know how expensive the resorts can be. There is a 7-Eleven right on the main road. They also sent up a bottle of sparkling wine and a birthday card for my boyfriend. a very nice touch and a bit of a surprise. We spent Saturday around the pool and the only thing about my stay that I have any issues with is the bar staff around the pool were very busy and I had to flag someone down to order some food. The price was outrageous and the care of the valet services was less than stellar. The golf personnel were fantastic.   "My husband and I happened to stay at the waters condos because the hotel was full for our event. I was very excited because i didn't like what i was reading about the hotel in trip advisor. When I made the reservation I specifically asked for one of the three types of condo I saw on the website. ..."I was told repeadedly they would do their very best to accomodate my request. As things went on and I needed to reach them a few times, I found them very hard to get a hold of... When we arrived, our condo wasn't at all like any of the 3 in the pictures and we had one queen sized bed which was a problem for my husband. So my advice is make sure you know there is no way to know what you will end up with, no matter what they tell you. on the second night when we came home early to go to bed there was a very loud band playing right outside our bedroom, thank goodness I called the Marriott hotel and told them we needed to move.. they were very nice and moved us to the hotel which we found ...
