Our bedroom was on the first floor, and even though there is a major road not far from the house, we did not hear any road noise during the night that we stayed. Pat was glad to offer suggestions for dinner as well as a few shopping spots close by. The breakfast, which he prepared, was excellent…eggs could not have been cooked any better! The rooms are similar but access to the annex is hampered by walking through the restaurant/bar area. The breakfast area is large and the food could not be faulted. Our evening party was catered for in a separate room. Excellent ambiance, varied menu and hardworking staff. Rooms in general are spacious. Tea and coffee making facilities are not in the room but are complimentary and can be ordered at any time. The hairdryer is not the most powerful.....It's a bonus to have a car park but at a busy time it's a bit cramped and essential to have staff to move cars if you are parked in the back row.
