  "The Courtyard Marriott sits in a cluster of Marriot and Hilton chained hotels across from the Florence Mall at the junction of I-20 and I-95. The hotel is on a side road and easy to get in and out. There is a Chili's and steakhouse within walking distance if you don't like the food at the hotel or..." do not want to drive far. The lobby is open and airy. There is a small snack section next to the desk if you are wanting, water, beer, soft drinks, or snacks. The restaurant is small and never looks like anyone is working. You either buy a beer there or at the snack section. The room was clean and the internet access was easy. The walls were not paper-thin and for the most part you heard little noise in the hallway. I had breakfast at the Courtyard restaurant one morning. The bacon was overdone, the eggs slightly runny and the coffee was a major burnt brand that I cannot stand as it gives me indigestion.   "I wanted to thank the desk clerk @ Howard Johnson, Her name is Latoya. We were desperate in finding a hotel after walking out of another I will call "a hotel from hell". I arrived around 1:15 AM hoping that they had a room (since it was race weekend), and I walked to the desk thinking she would say ..."sorry no rooms avalible, but instead she was very nice and said yes we do, I was talking to her about the other "hotel from hell", without saying which hotel, she knew right away and said sorry for your experience.
