My parents stayed in caboose 1. It had bunk beds as well as a queen bed. Their bathroom only had a shower and was significantly smaller than our bathroom. I had no complaints about the lodging. The bed was comfortable, and we even managed to fit four chairs into caboose 1 so we could play cards. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but we did check out the "petting zoo". That was disappointing and sad. There were a few goats and sheep, some chickens and roosters, and ponies. The animals did not look like they were very well taken care of. The location is fabulous.   "We just love our trips to Verdant Farm! First of all I want to say to those people who did not like the accommodations next time try the White house. It was exceptionally clean. Modern threw and threw from the Flat screen TV to the Jacuzzi tubs. If you are going in a group it is worth it. If you are..." a small family, then the farm house accommodations are fine for what you are doing. It is a farm after all not a resort. So the rooms are a bit dated and maybe the carpets are stained, but I cant imagine it is easy to keep them clean when all the guest do walk around the farm that is after all a farm with mud and dirt, and go to there room with dirty boots and shoes. Aside from that they are perfect for a few days stay at the farm. The Experiences is really what you go for. Children today do not have many opportunity to see an actual working farm.   "Our family has visited beaver creek cabins for 34 years. It has always maintained it's charm and beauty. A great place for a family vacation or couples. At the top of the hill there are 2 bedroom cabins and at the bottom there are 1 bedroom cabins. They are simple but perfect with a stove, fridge & ..."kitchen table. The owners are very nice and on the contrary to what other reviews may say Ronda and her family keep these cabins clean and the grounds are impeccable. There are also goats in a fenced area which my children adore seeing.
