We were only in town for one evening so the room has more amenities than we could use in that time - but it was great to have the options. We stayed in a King Suite and it came fully equipped with a big front-hall closet, iron a..."nd ironing board, full fridge, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and kitchenette counter. It even had a built-in stovetop! The desk area was large and spacious (there was tonnes of storage) and the bed was large and comfortable. There were many accessible outlets (a problem we have run into before at other hotels) so that was convenient. The bathroom was larger than most and boasted another large closet. The only downside was the breakfast - the room that it was served in was small and musty, and the selection wasn't great. But I never expect too much from a continental breakfast. I would recommend staying here for a long weekend so you could utilize the space and the kitchenette. " More >

  "Stopped here on the way south in January and liked it so much we made a point of returning on the way home in March. this is a beautiful NEW hotel and the accommodations are a cut above the rest along route 81. If you are in the Scranton area this is the the place to stay."

Also, a refrigerator and microwave in room; good, free internet access; a window that opened a bit to let fresh air in. On the minus side: No free breakfast; room ..."was not well cleaned (for instance, the ceiling in the bathroom had yellow blobs of mold or mineral gunk, which could have easily been cleaned away but obviously hadn't been for some time). In addition, be wary when using GPS in this area. Ours told us we were almost three miles from the hotel when, actually, we were a couple of blocks away. " More >
