Lucky for us the weather while we were in Merimbula was awesome so we were able to fully appreciate the location of the apartments as well as the pool! We had hired a car for our trip but only used it for the day tri..."ps. Otherwise we walked everywhere; town, beach, bowling club. The apartments were great. The spa bath was a hit with the kids; so was the pool (it's heated). They were clean and more than functional. The 2 bedroom apartment was more than big enough for 5 of us. Kitchen facilities were adequate (usual basics; pots, pans), laundry facilities were great (there's a days worth of powder supplied), bathrooms clean & modern (small supplies of shampoo, conditioner, body wash). Gorgeous view over the Merimbula Lake (would have been nice to have a bigger balcony to sit on - think the bigger apartments have the smaller balcony).   "Stayed many times at bayview over the years, normally for 2 weeks at a time..magnificent..best views in town at night time with the reflections of the towns lights reflecting across the water..make a coffee in the morning..walk out the front door across the road and sit on the private jetty and enjo..."y the sunrise..always stayed at Bayview prior to buying our own property in Merimbula, still drop in and catch up with Helen and Graeme, always been so nice and helpful...dissappoints me to read Paulines really poor review..have never stayed anywhwere wher the provide secure storage for whatever..however Bayview has bike racks that are secure..more than lots of other places.. lovely and clean..nice and quiet....Mum always said if you cant say something nice..then don't say it " More >
