On arrival the hill seems daunting but we were greeted with such friendliness we soon forgot that and Tommy offered to come down into Mevagissey and pick us up after our evening meal every day. The bedroom was fantastic - large, exceptionally clean, beautiful shower room and so many little details to make it special, providing you are happy with a very firm bed. We could use the breakfast room at any time which is well equipped with microwave and fridge if you wish to have a takeaway or light meal in the evening. Breakfasts are of the continental type but there is plenty of variety and Tommy's scrambled and boiled eggs are extremely good. Bacchus is central for visiting anywhere in Cornwall and very close to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
