  "Good location, units are a little dated, but comfortable. the bed was quite nice except for the old style bedspread - way too heavy. if you can't climb a circular staircase, you might want to ask if they have other units. i had a large suitcase, thank goodness my husband was willing to haul it up..." the stairs! ours was a one bedroom, (in a loft) 2 bath, great whirlpool tub and gas fireplace. lovely view of the meadow from our 2nd floor unit. the only downsides were that you have to take out your own trash (i've never stayed in a place that required that before!) and you have to pay for internet access - $5/day. there are hotspots elsewhere in sunriver, so i passed on their fee. it looks like they're slowly upgrading televisions and kitchen appliances - our unit still had old tvs. we were there for a week and had a great time. they include the use of free bicycles with the unit and there are plenty of paths for walking and biking.   "We had a great time visiting this resort. The bike paths were the cats meow, nice and flat and beautiful scenery. We brought our bikes but there are bikes there to rent too. Mt. Bachelor is only 20 min. away and is an easy drive up the hill. The resort itself is very well laid out, the lodge is ..."quite beautiful with lots of nice woodwork. Our room at the river lodge was great. It had a nice gas fireplace in it. Worth the upgrade. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk girl even made a pot of coffee for me at 6:30 am! Now that's service! There are swimming pools at the new aquatic center, a nice spa, a village, places to eat, hiking, lava tube exploration, jogging, walking, bird watching, fishing, etc. lots of stuff to do, something for everyone!
