  "my husband and i just spent another fabulous week at the wallowa lake resort in wallowa oregon. this was our second stay in the last 3 years. we go the end of april and the weather is great and #5 is now even better since the staircase remodel. it is a beautiful time of year to get away to the pea..."ce and quiet of wallowa lake. the cabin is always warm and inviting. #5 is the only one with a wood burning fireplace and the wood is delivered to your side door daily it is great and peaceful. i would recommend this place haven't been there in the high season but we enjoy the off season because of the peace and quiet. thank you again for a awesome week. alan and denise sanborn................see you again next year " More >

  "We were touring the area by car in mid-May and stopped by to take a look at the historic lodge. A very friendly woman at reception offered to show us a cabin (2 BR), which was charming, so we elected to stay for three nights. The cabin was lovely -- just the right size for three people. Two BR, wo..."nderful view, beautiful deck and table/chairs, picture windows, plenty of firewood and daily house keeping to boot. I couldn't have asked for more. We had dinner at the lodge dining room on Friday night and I was treated to the best filet I've had in many moons and a reasonably priced bottle of Woodward Canyon cabernet. What's not to like?
