I suggest better signage along the highway. Using the Alday's sign is OK, but it's easy drive past it on a dark stormy night. I write this from the perspective of a stranger in town.   "My wife and I spent a week at this hotel in mid- April, 2013. It was a very good experience overall. The only small down side was that toward the end of the week, the morning breakfast buffet wore a bit "thin". By the time we left, the fruit (bananas) wasn't quite so fresh and the scrambled egg..." mix became a little tiresome. If you wanted some good biscuits, McDonalds was just down the down the road. The staff, rooms and service were excellent. If you are new to Wilmington, the Hampton Inn is a little tricky to find since it sits waaayyy back off the main road and there's no sign directly on Rt22 that points you to it. However, in a very short time, you quickly learn to turn left (or right depending on your direction) @ Aldi's store. " More >

  "We stayed here this past weekend. It was our second time visiting Wilmington OH. The first time was in Sept. 2012. We liked it then so we stayed again. We found the same level of cleanliness and quality. Our room was spotless, our beds clean and comfortable. The lobby is gorgeous so we were ex..."cited that our room looked down on it. Then front desk staff is not overly friendly but is courtious and efficient. Check out was extremely smooth. The location of the hotel on the interstate made us leery at first BUT you old not hear any outside noise. We also found interior noises to be minimal. We will definitely stay here again. " More >
